Amy is a counselor who is passionate about supporting college students, young adults, the LGBTQ+ community, and those navigating life transitions, managing anxiety, struggling with depression, and/or experiencing symptoms of OCD. She utilizes a variety of tools and techiques from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention, tailored to each individual client’s unique needs.
Amy will work with you to help you uncover the patterns that are keeping you stuck, feeling empty, and not good enough. She is here to support you as you navigate life’s challenges, whether it’s managing school pressures, experiencing a life transition, relationship concerns, coping with difficult emotions, or building self-acceptance. Her approach is compassionate as she strives to create a safe, welcoming space where clients can explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences with empathy and understanding. She understands that the decision to begin counseling can sometimes feel overwhelming, and she is here to support you every step of the way.
Outside of work, Amy enjoys spending time with her family, checking out new coffee shops and restaurants, and spending time on one of many of Central Florida’s beautiful hiking trails. She believes that self-care is a an ever-changing work in progress for all of us, and continues to work on her on own personal growth as well.
